DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Quit Claim Deed recorded in the Office of the Des Moines County Recorder on April 7, 1995 transferred Unsigned Iowa 936 to the city of Burlington.

 

Also see the September 23, 1994 letter requesting this deed from Burlington City Manager Jane Wood to David Ellis Iowa Department of Transportation.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 936 be deleted from the Primary Road System.

Due to the relocation of Iowa 406 in the area of West Burlington and Burlington, Unsigned Iowa 936 has been created and should be officially included into the Pri­mary Road System.

 

Unsigned Iowa 936 begins at the east corporation line of the City of Burlington and travels easterly terminating at the west corporation line of Burlington, Iowa.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

Locate Unsigned Iowa 936 in Des Moines County as follows:

 

Beginning on the east corporation line of the City of Burlington connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly through Section 36‑T70N‑R3W to the west corporation line of the City of Burlington connecting with an unnamed street.

 

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Trans­portation approve the location of Unsigned Iowa 936 in Des Moines County, Iowa.
